Brief: Lead UI Design and some front-end development of flagship iOS app experiences for iPhone and iPad
From 2011 to 2012, I helped lead iOS user interface design and in-app web development for the #1 broadcast shopping network in America. My work was integrated with ongoing multi-channel marketing campaigns targeted to support broadcasts reaching over 100 million households and an annual revenue of $8.6 Billion. Notable accomplishments include working to elevate featured storefront art for QVC’s flagship iPhone & iPad apps, art directing junior designers for the production of special promotions, serving as the mobile creative lead for the April 2012 Sterling Designer Gallery, a multi-million dollar retail day for QVC’s premium silver jewelry brand.
I also led front-end development of an HTML5, in-app experience that allowed viewers of “In The Kitchen w/ David” to interact with the show in realtime via iPad. This marked the first time QVC’s mobile team had contributed to a project in a front-end development capacity.
